We’re thrilled to announce our latest project: Scandinavian Mountains Airport (ESKS) – one of Europe’s most spectacular mountain strips.
Why ESKS?
Tucked away in the Swedish mountains at 1,500 feet elevation, ESKS isn’t just an airport – it’s an adventure. This is where weekend warriors come to test their mountain flying skills, where charter flights navigate challenging terrain to deliver skiers to untouched powder, and where every approach demands respect for the mountains.
It’s exactly the kind of challenging, character-rich destination that makes flight simulation addictive.
What We’re Planning:
- Authentic Mountain Flying: Real terrain data, real weather patterns, real consequences for sloppy approaches. The mountains around ESKS don’t forgive mistakes.
- Seasonal Character: ESKS transforms dramatically between seasons. Our version will capture both the snow-covered winter operations and the lush summer mountain environment.
- Performance Without Compromise: Complex mountain terrain rendered smooth enough for serious flying, detailed enough for serious immersion.
The Journey Ahead:
Development is just beginning. Over the coming months, we’ll be diving deep into:
- Terrain analysis and elevation mapping
- Real-world operational procedures research
- Weather pattern studies (mountain flying = weather flying)
- Performance testing in challenging conditions

Development updates will be posted via our NOTAM feed and social channels as we approach initial beta testing and release.
